Excellent base for exploring coast and Countryside
I booked a friend into The Mayfield for four nights in September 2008.Thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of the stay.Good sized room furnished to a high standard,good,freshly cooked breakfast catering for individual preferences and a welcoming and obliging host and hostess.Small extras like a personally rated guide to local restaurants (useful even for a local like myself) added to an already first class service and made for a very enjojable stay.The good value pricing was a final plus for this really friendly little hotel.
